Radnor  P T S A

Dear Parents,
This has been a difficult school year so far; let’s all hope that life at RHS will return to “normal” soon. The Radnor school district is a wonderful community but, like any other, we have issues that need attention. It is our wish that, as we strive to address these concerns, we don’t forget everything that makes this a fantastic place to live and learn.

We turned our October 11 PTSA meeting over to Joe Cannella and Dr. Gary Cooper to discuss school security matters and address parent concerns. All of the usual PTSA business matters can be found at www.radnorptsa.com.

Parent/Teacher conferences will be held on November 20 and November 21.

Parent volunteers will be available for scheduling on November 13, 14 and 15. We are still looking for volunteers to answer phones and schedule conferences. Each shift is approximately two hours (and the time goes very quickly!). Shifts are available on Monday, Nov. 13, Tuesday, Nov. 14 and the morning of Wednesday, Nov. 15. Please e-mail Melinda Smith at melindaRsmith@aol.com or call 610.525.5946.

Each year the PTSA thanks the RHS staff with an Appreciation Dinner during conference week. The dinner will be held on Monday, November 20. If you are interested in helping (with food or staffing), please contact Tricia Maud at 610.527.0343 or triciamaud@yahoo.com.
"At Thanksgiving the PTSA sponsors food baskets for Radnor High School families in need. In the past, families have greatly appreciated these generous contributions. We are looking for people to contribute baskets which generally contain foods such as soup, yams, canned vegetables, nuts, juices, fruit, holiday decorations, and a coupon for a turkey. If you are interested in contributing a basket, please contact Sue McKelvey-Goggins (sue.mckelvey-goggins@comcast.net) or Rachel Kurtyka (rachel_kurtyka@yahoo.com)."
