RADNOR HIGH SCHOOL PTSA MINUTES 3/8/2006 WELCOME: The meeting was called to order at 8:00 PM by Debbie Gibbons-Neff and Robin Kaney. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: The minutes of 2/8/06 were approved by motion and second. TREASURER’S REPORT: The treasurer’s report was approved by motion and second. Nancy Rosenbluth reviewed the school store treasurer’s report which was approved by motion and second. Class gift funds have been distributed from the school store account. Discussion was held regarding history of distribution of class gift funds, and the fact that any funds remaining when a class graduates remains for the planning of their five year reunion. FACULTY REPORT: Ellie Doerr was not able to be present, but sent a report that progress reports have been distributed PARENT COUNCIL REPORTS: The sophomore class worked with Philabundance and is planning another community service event with that organization. The class is also working on their dance. The junior class greatly appreciates their class gift funds from the school store. The freshman dance will be held on 3/18/06 and donations of baked goods would be appreciated. The class plans a parent social for this spring and e-mail addresses of parents are being compiled for class communication. PRESIDENT’S REPORT: Debbie Gibbons-Neff and Robin Kaney presented the slate of officers to be voted on in April for the 2006-’07 school year.
PRINCIPAL’S REPORT: Mrs. Eby is ill and her report will be given at our April meeting. COORDINATING COUNCIL: The most recent meeting discussed that Act 72 was not passed by the state legislature and efforts are underway by many school districts to request legislation preventing “back-end” referendums.
