RADNOR HIGH SCHOOL PTSA
September 12, 2001

WELCOME
Bev Galloway opened the meeting at 7:35.

MINUTES
The minutes of the June 6, 2001 meeting were approved by motion and seconded.

STUDENT REPRESENTATIVES
Lisa Berger, representing the Junior Class gave her report including plans for the homecoming themes and plans for a variety show.

TREASURER'S REPORT
Anne Peters reported a $200 would be given for Thanksgiving for Seniors. The main account and school store accounts were approved by motion and second.

PRINCIPAL'S REPORT
Dr. Baker reported on the opening of school. Opening day welcomed 1034 students and the total as of September 12, 2001 was 1010. He further reported on the school dance, open house scheduled for October 4, 2001 and the RAP program.

PRESIDENT'S REPORT
Bev Galloway reported on the RAP program at freshman orientation.  October 4 is open house and this year there will be a presentation for the junior class regarding the culminating project. The booster clubs and the PTSA are joining funds to purchase a defibrillator. Also discussed were school board elections, a college funding seminar and outdoor school lights.

COMMITTEE REPORTS
Directory: Carol Cassidy spoke on behalf of Mary Ann Brink regarding the directory. The price was set at $10.00 and approved on motion and second. 
Drug and Alcohol: Dan Sherry reported on the booklet funded by a REF grant, the presentation for Freshman Orientation scheduled for October 24 and discussed the mandatory meeting for Junior Parents prior to the prom. The next meeting is scheduled for September 20.
